Reaping the Whirlwind - Leg 3 - Missoula - Day 1 (flight), 2 (car work), and first part of 3 (half marathon)

Flew to Missoula from Boston, to JFK, to SLC, and then to MSO in a junker like this one.  Okay, not this one, but a slightly nicer one.  Still, you get the idea.

Was picked up by Dave's sister because Dave was unavoidably detained by car troubles early on.  Then he showed up in this.  I sensed a transportation theme.

Dave and his Dad immediately started rehabilitating the beast.  Dave spent all day Saturday fine tuning the 1964 Suburban.  Race day was quickly arriving.

Dave before the race.
Me after the race.  We both finished with unremarkable times.  Dave finishing, however, was remarkable, given that he hadn't run more than 6 miles in two years.

After the race, we packed up and headed to Rock Creek for fishing . . . . .
