Got back to MD and flew up to Boston to hang out with Katy during her conference. The first day, we walked around and saw some familiar sites. We hopped on a Duck tour, since we liked the one in Seattle.
A picture of Katy enjoying her Duck ride. The next day, we went to see the USS Constitution, the oldest commissioned warship in the world. We got there 10 minutes before closing, but wished that we had about an hour to go through the ship and its lower decks. Oh well, maybe next time. . . .
Randomly got a text from Yaz and found out that he was in Boston for the same conference as Katy. Was able to hang out several times, lunch, dinner, soccer match . . . .
I guess it's a small world for those bio-engineers.
After Boston, it was time to head out for the final, long leg of the whirlwind . . . .
