Reaping the Whirlwind - First Leg - Lake House

Drove down to a house at Smith Mountain Lake for a day to hang out with the Carneal side of the family.

 The house was happily situated with a great dock.  You could dive off the end into clear water.  From our bank to the next and back was 225 yards, which made for a good swim.  Had a lot of fun swimming and catching up with the family.

 Only flipped the kayak once.  Then again, only got to ride it once. 

Took a family photo before I had to head up for leg 2 of the whirlwind trip. . .
