And the house in Ashland hasn't seen this much snow in a while . . .
Meanwhile, in MD while snowed in, we baked a ham we had frozen, with potatoes and spinach. Edamame was for an appetizer . . .
Set up the tripod to get a nice, stable night shot of the snow-encapsulated cars on the street.
And Mo was taking his time, lazing around the house and enjoying the warmth.
But the view out the front window in the morning was impressive.
Nor did the back steps, which were still overrun with snow. . .
So I decided to go out the window to the deck to get the shovel and start cleaning up.
Wanted to measure the snow first, of course!
Spent an hour or so digging out the driveway and the cars. Katy also shoveled the old neighbor's driveway. It was truly a chore, and Katy got heat exhaustion and had to quit working. We settled down and watched "Bad Santa" to get into the holiday drinking spirit. Now we're decorating the tree, and I'll post some pics of that later.
