Bon Voyage to Florian, Part 1

Unfortunately, Florian's time at the NRC is at an end. He will be heading back to Deutschland on Tuesday. Katy and I headed over to his place to help him move stuff out of the apartment. If anyone needs a light-pine IKEA bookcase or some shrouded lamps, let us know!

After loading up the CRV, we went to Ireland's Four Fields (formerly Ireland's Four Provinces), for some Guiness, Smithwick's, 18y irish whiskey, and Bailey's.
We played two games of hearts, once while eating dinner and once while listening to Irish music.

Good times were had to all while listening to U2, Tom Petty, and Irish folk songs sung by the man above. Sadly, all good things must come to an end. . . .

We wish Florian all the best in his future adventures. Hopefully we'll get to visit him in Cologne, and he'll be back next year for the NRC's Regulatory Information Conference (RIC 2011). We'll be sure to catch him then . . . . so to be continued!
